C71000 white copper is a structural copper-nickel alloy with high corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties, and good pressure workability in both hot and cold states. C71000 white copper has excellent mechanical properties with high tensile strength and elongation. Specifically, the tensile strength (σb/MPa) >= 295 and elongation (δ10/%) >= 20.
The heat treatment process of C71000 white copper includes a casting temperature of 1280-1300℃, an annealing temperature of 600-780℃, a hot working temperature of 980-1030℃, and a low-temperature annealing temperature of 250℃ for eliminating internal stress.
The cold working performance of C71000 white copper is poor, and it is generally produced by the process of cold open billet. In the cold working process, the processing rate should not be too large.
C71000 white copper welding performance is good, can be soft, hard brazing, oxyacetylene welding resistance spot welding, butt welding, can also be gas shielded metal arc welding and resistance seam welding, but can not be shielded metal arc welding.
C71000 white copper cutting performance is poor, about 20% of the easy-to-cut brass HPb63-3.
